The Ethnic Media Roundtable Media Kit was provided to members of the media who attended the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Ethnic Media Roundtable for Emergency Preparedness for Pandemic Flu in Los Angeles on March 15, 2006, and in San Francisco on March 23, 2006. They were co-sponsored by New America Media. The roundtable meetings provided a forum for CDPH and members of the ethnic media to discuss methods of communication, information needs of various ethnic groups and lessons learned from past experiences with state agencies. Information in this kit includes resources in various languages on pandemic flu, seasonal flu and emergency preparedness, provided for download as zipped directories, containing PDFs and other highly formatted and graphics-heavy documents.
