Students from Dryades YMCA James Singleton School in New Orleans worked on a program that is focused on providing the knowledge, skills, resources, and motivation to help students make decisions that advance their health and safety. InnerLink's Project Safe helped the students teach themselves about basic safety, and then created a safety plan for themselves and their family. They then went on to work as a team on two advocacy activities, a play and a wall poster, with each student creating art dealing with disasters that were very real to their lives.
